A grandma was run over and killed by a forklift at a Florida lodging that was dealing with fixes from Tropical storm Ian, police said.
Police said 62-year-old Susan Brock was struck at the Ocean side Asylum Inn in Daytona Ocean side Shores around 1:45 p.m. on Monday evening, Daytona Ocean side Shores Public Wellbeing Chief Boss Mike Fowler told WKMG-television.
Brock, who inhabited the lodging, was hit by the lift while she was strolling through the parking garage, authorities said. She was taken to a neighborhood medical clinic where she was articulated dead.
The forklift had been conveying roofing materials to fix harms the inn supported when Typhoon Ian whacked the Florida coast in September.

“This was a lamentable mishap, and we will lead a full examination to figure out what prompted it,” Boss Fowler said.
Fowler said the driver didn’t see Brock before he hit her. Susan Brock’s grandson, Shawn Brock, told the media source that he actually has inquiries concerning the mishap that poor person been replied.
